    Hisham,

Somehow I missed the news about this. Totally heartbreaking.

I can’t help but remember the last time I was in Morocco; and the people were so kind and thoughtful and everyone expressed their sadness about the situation in New Orleans. (Hurricane Katrina had hit the city, the day before we departed for Marrakech.)

All I can say is I hope help arrives soon, and there is no more destruction. And yes, I believe in many circumstances, that people getting involved can do things much faster (and sometimes better) than many official agencies.

My best to the lovely people of Morocco.
    Patricia
