Don’t Buy a New Laptop.. New Tech is Coming Soon!
A Friend called me today and told me to check what’s published on Dar Al Hayat website, I found an article talking about the new Tech of Blu-ray Disc and the high definition optical disc format war. This Tech will be provided in new Laptops, so.. the article is warning people from buying a new Laptop now, and wait till this new tech is available in the Middle East Market..
Ok, I set back on my seat and thought about it, but I don’t find any problem with buying a new Laptop, why not buy a new Laptop even if the new Tech is coming soon, why wait? Just for a DVD or what ever player? No! I don’t think so!
Advanced notebook computer nowadays comes with cheap laptop accessories like a car charger for flexibility so you’ll be able to use if it runs out of power and you’re inside your car or when you are traveling.
The first logic thought came to my mind that when the new Blu-ray is out there I will just buy it and install it instead of my old one! Or what? I really don’t know if this needs from me to change something on the Laptop, for example a new mother board or something, but I don’t think so!

Frankly, I NEVER use the optical drive in a laptop, I usually swap it out for an extra battery. I get all my media over the network
Oh and if you’re going wait for “new” technology. You’re going to wait for a VERY long time. Because there’s ALWAYS something new around the corner. ALWAYS!
well.. this is a good thing to do my friend, but let me you that sometimes I think that my office is on the internet :) I remember the early time were pretty much different than the way it’s in the present.
anyways.. now everything is on the internet some how, and still have a space for a lot more than that.. but you know what? let me tell you something funny, if you know about the HD DVD discs by Toshiba is suffering now by Sony Blu-Ray, and you know I have that nice Big LCD TV that supports The HD. but now I feel like what for? I thought I will use it to watch Movies with HD quality one day that will come sooner or latter, dreaming about it :-p ,, but now.. forget about it, because.. it will never be any movies are going to use it, and Toshiba will stop produce it…
I think This will happen with the Blu-Ray also, and we will never even see one!!
