Are you interested in Jaffa history?

Well, if you are interested in history and you like to travel, then maybe it’s the time, you definitely want to know about the Opening of a new museum for history in Palestine – Jaffa where they call is now Tel Aviv. A group of three hundred volunteers are going to get together a great collecting of historical photos for the “Revealing the Hidden City”. It is an innovative project designed to preserve historic photos from Jaffa.

There are several legends about the origin of the name Jaffa. The name of the city is mentioned in the Egyptian sources and the Amarna Letters as Yapu. The museum is located in the old majestic municipal building on Bialik Street, it will offer a quite number of documents, artifacts, and thousands of photographs for all those who love to know about history.
