Lebanese Demonstrated in front of the White House

More than a hundred Lebanese Demonstrated in front of the White House in Washington, U.S. to express their outrage what is happening in their homeland Lebanon, and sang slogans condemning the violence, calling for immediate cessation and other anti-Syrian and Iranian interference in Lebanese affairs.

This move comes within a series of moves intended to Lebanese in the United States to protest and condemn the systematic violence practiced by “Hezbollah on Lebanese territory, and in this context, the demonstrations would move to the United Nations headquarters in New York. The Lebanese people in Washington had responded to an invitation of President Fouad Siniora stopping A minute’s silence before the Lebanese Embassy there in solidarity with Lebanon and its martyrs.

   Interesting point – but I am not sure that really explains the situation. With gas over $4 a gallon that changes everything.
