Life Or Death Insurance?

Everyday I check my mail, like all people in America I receive lots of mails, people use to check the mail everyday waiting for important mail like bills, all kind of bills like, electricity, gas, water, house payments, and some other important letters.

My friend was at home, when the mail man came, and I took the mail, actually was nothing important just one letter it say my name and its urgent to open, so I did and she asked what’s that important letter, I say, some company is offering Life Insurance, almost everyday we receive this letters from different Life Insurance Companies and also Banks, who also they offer for less, they say, you pay 12 $ a month, and u will be covered for 100.000 $ when u past away, she say WOW, that’s great. the thing is, you will be already dead lol they should change the name of the advertise to, Death Insurance ,so we discuss about it ,I use to have one of this insurance ,she asked me how much I paid for it, I say 52 $ a month, and they were offering 250.000 $, she asked me how long I was having this insurance I say 10 years. Almost immediately she say, so you paid more than 7.000 $ in 10 years.

Yes I did :P

When I cancel this service ,they suppose to give me a percent of what I was paying, but they didn’t, they talk lots and somehow make you to accept what they offer instead of giving some money back. She asked me why you cancel it? I say -making fun off it- is not in my plans past away soon lol and if I past away, my family will take care of that, I don’t think they will want me dead on the living room lol, so we were talking about it, is this a good business? Life Insurance?

Off course for the people who offer this service, lots of people we are “LUCKY OR UNLUCKY” to not past away while you are paying until you quit the service for some reason, so why people in America buy this?

Why not buy Funeral services or the place to be buried, of course some people do, other’s go for big cash, thinking on family.

Yeah I was one of them :P , but now I am saving my 52 $ a month, so that way, my family will have money to bury me.

But for sure this is a good business or not????:)
