Obama Apologized To Muslim Girls

I wrote before, about having doubts to vote, Mr. Obama or Mr. McCain, and I also included a page from Boston.com and a video from youtube to people to watch and read, it was about two Muslim girls  who were barred from prime seats directly behind the candidate because staffers were concerned that they were wearing traditional head scarves, or Hijab.

It could be a trick  as someone mention it in my post, it could, why not? we are in America, everything is possible, but seems like it wasn’t  a trick, last Thursday Mr. Obama called and apologize the two Muslim girls.

Mr. Obama said: ”I reached out to Ms. Aref and Ms. Abdelfadeel this afternoon. I spoke with Ms. Abdelfadeel, and expressed my deepest apologies for the incident that occurred with volunteers at the event in Detroit. The actions of these volunteers were unacceptable and in no way reflect any policy of my campaign”.

This two girls and some other Muslims faced what we all races who came to   U.S.A faced in the past, Mexicans were one of this races who had the courage to speak out and defend their rights.

Americas is a country of immigrants who were establishing their own communities, and with respect I really think we all can be a big good family, it doesn’t matter what religion nationality or what you are wearing, I congratulate these two girls and I’m proud of them, that they had the courage to speak out and defend their rights, if you do not speak you will never be heard. I think this is  time for Muslims to speak out. Is time to change and show to the world that Muslims and all races and religions deserve respect even although we disagree in their beliefs

We all deserve respect.

   The problem is not merely banning the two muslim girls but mainy wither we are going to see ‘real change’ in the mentalities, and hence prespectives, towards stereotyping people in general and muslims, that’s the question!
