Police Corruption Increased in Texas During Economic Crises
He was driving his car going back home when two police officers stopped him, they asked him where he is going, he told them that he is just going back home like any other day. Police officers asked him to step out of the car because they will search him, and when they searched the car they found an amount of money (twenty thousand American dollars), the policemen asked him from where he get this kind of money? He said this is his own money, and he wanted to buy a new house in Mexico as he will travel there soon.
This happened to a friend of mine living in Texas, police officers stole the 20.000 dollars from him and toke everything else even his watch, mobile phone, and left him behind after warning him not to talk to anybody about what happened, they threatened him and they didn’t arrest him or take him to police station for investigation, all what they wanted is to take the cash and if he talk about they will fabricate a false story and send him to jail for some claimed illegal crimes, they told him also that they will trace him everywhere and monitor his house so they will guarantee full of silence.
He was a afraid, he decided to escaped to Mexico because of fear of oppression by the police, left his home and everything else behind, especially after the economic crisis affected the U.S. lately, which made the company where works to reduce the number of working hours by half, which leaded him to leave work and try to look for another job but his attempts failed. Now he is not able to pay house payments or the cost of living anymore, and decided to escape trying to find a new life beginning with out fear!
This is an example for the bad behavior of police officers in America after the financial crisis which has affected a lot of Americans having their salaries reduced or abandoned their work. But of course, by logic thinking I would believe that those corrupted elements in the U.S. police were and still conducting this activity and such abuse acts to the American residents who did not have citizenship since long time back even before the economic crises, but who knows what else could happen regarding to it.
