City of Beirut is holding the first cafe called FaceBook, the café is using the name of the famous social network, which exists Monnot Street is the first of its kind in terms of idea and the name.
I found this information on stylish solution blog, and thought share it with you in English here.
Sharbel Mowannes the founder and owner of facebook café said that the idea had been raised on FaceBook management for five months in the United States when he asked for permit to use the name and logo of FaceBook, the management agreed and they will send representatives from the site for the café to check it, which Consisting of two floors to accommodate 80 people, and has been designed using a special decor to be similar to the colors and forms used at the site.
We are here, we feel inside a page of facebook on the computer screen, the same atmosphere and lots of friends, stylish solution said.
The bar is using the white and blue colors, same colors of the site, and the café is providing services similar to the site services, for example.. could provide for new visitors a free drink, and there is the special Wall where visitors can leave messages for each other, and there are various activities provided by the café according to their importance and the possibility of exchanging gifts, and also taking photos for visitors and display them on the screen, which makes the person have a kind of profile and show him as a star of the cafe.
I see a wonderful idea and a very distinctive, and perhaps if the idea was impressed by the management of the site will spread allover the world, but we must remember that Beirut was the beginning.

good idea .but i start having nightmares.

That’s pretty cool that online social networking is breaking the barriers of virtual and real socializing.
I’d love to own a Twitter Café where patrons could Tweet to each other from across the room. Small displays would be setup with touch screen keyboards built into the table/counter.
@hishaman That’s a great salad you’re eating there.
Remember, you seen it here first lol

We have the same in Plovdiv, Bulgaria since Dec. ‘09 – FacebookCafe. Apart from using the name of Facebook, this cafe will detect who is attending it at any given moment and will publish that on it’s website, as well as Facebook. This is one of many ideas that we will see soon.
