Bio…

Amr Khaled was born in Alexandria, Egypt. He graduated from Cairo University in 1988 with a degree in Accounting. In 2001, he received a diploma from an Islamic Studies Institute. He is currently studying for his Ph.D at the University of Wales.

He began preaching in mosques in 1990 while still working as an accountant. In 1998, he moved to full-time preaching, primarily on satellite television. Khaled’s popular lectures, which can be seen on the IQRA channel via the NILESAT direct broadcast satellites, are also distributed over the Internet and on audio and video cassette tapes.

Moez Masoud is a host of television and radio shows about Islam in both English and Arabic.

He grew up speaking English and colloquial Arabic (although not the formal Arabic of the Quran). His family was not particularly religious, and he attended American schools while growing up in Egypt and Kuwait.

While he was at university, a number of his friend were killed, and he had his own brush with death involving a tumor. While dealing with his illness, he made a deal with God: “Let me survive this and I will dedicate my life to you.”

He began studying formal Arabic, and the Quran, and attending mosque; which troubled his mother at first as she worried that he might be influenced by extremists. He came to believe that the most faithful interpretation of the Koran lay in between the watered down Islam of his youth, and the extremist interpretations gaining notoriety in the 1990s.

During his studies, he found that he had memorized the Quran with out specifically intending to, and began to become popular as a discussion group leader. This led to his first Islam related show; the English language Parables in the Quran. His most recent program is the Arabic language The Right Way, which premiered during Ramadan 2007.

At The Search for Mutual Understanding (a 2006 conference) he gave a speech titled “The True Message of Islam”

Mustafa Hosny is an Islamic preacher and televangelist, he was born on the 28th of August 1978,he received a diploma from an Islamic Studies Institute. In 2000 he graduated from AinShams university (B.sc of Commerce),he used to work in the career of sales but later decided to become fully devoted to preaching.

   I use to like Amr but he just did a lot of talking and less action
