Yesterday Texas Flooded pics – How bad is it?

I just got the pictures from my wife Hayat, she say that everything there is a mess in Texas, and she is sick since a few days back, now she don’t know where to put her new Cherokee because Texas is Flooding, she suggest to put it on top of the house, lol I believe she is spending a crazy time right now in Texas.

I got a call from Hayat two days back, she was telling me not to worry, because some places in Texas are flooding like usual, so I told her that I didn’t watch the news all day and I have no idea what is happening there, I told her that I will call back, then I went home to check my computer and TV news trying to know what is happening in Texas, but there were no body talks about it, which means it’s not serious this time, thanks God!

I wonder why USA have such great weather?!

I didn’t know it was flooding in Texas this time of year…that’s awful! Hope it’s not as bad as the pictures seem.

  2. The US is a huge country and many areas undergo natural disasters from one season to the next. They may be prepared for flooding rivers or high snowfall but apparently even with all our technology, the weather is guesswork. Hurricane areas, mountain forest fires and other devastation require the government to have ready rescue operations in place.
Trouble is we don’t pay enough attention to the environment, and we certainly are nowhere near ready–be it in spirit or plain procedure–to help our neighbors in need. Calls for each person to help someone in their neighborhood every day should be seen as critical.
No matter what changes Obama can make, everyone must care, and provide, for those beside him and/or herself. That kind of change has to come from inside each of us.
Where our national trait for ruthlessness comes from–I don’t know. Only that we’ve gotta overcome it.

Flood images can be so dramatic (thanks for sharing), yet when you think about the stories that lie behind the images, you’re not left feeling all that great :(
