Looks this interview, which was attributed to Shiekh Qaradawi, is false. Here is the link which says that Shiekh Qaradawi never said what is mentioned in the above article.

I agree with Gus that a better translation is needed though I appreciate the effort of the translator. Native Arabic speakers can understand what the translator is trying to say, however, it would be better if someone with better command of English translate those articles.
